The Burnie Arts & Function Centre, comprises a large multi-functional auditorium, a 370-seat proscenium arch theatre, and five additional function rooms.

The Centre's entire event space is 1, square metres, providing the region with a facility that caters for large undercover expos. The complex has a wide range of high quality audio and visual equipment, including professional lighting, projection, and sound systems - suitable for live performances, conferences and presentations.

As well as serving the local community as an event and performance space, The Burnie Arts & Function Centre presents an annual performing arts subscription season throughout the year, featuring a variety of local, Tasmanian, national and international artists.

Since the 1970s, the Burnie Arts & Function Centre has been host to formal events, charity dinners, debutante balls, and more. With an onsite catering service, well-equipped function rooms and facilities, ample parking, and a team of caring professionals, the Burnie Arts & Function Centre is the ideal venue.

Theatre Spaces

There are two performing arts spaces for your concert, theatre or dance production.

Arts Theatre
The Town Hall

Both theatres have professional lighting and sound and all backstage facilities (dressing rooms, loading dock and storage areas).

The place to park if you're attending an event at the Burnie Arts & Function Centre, visiting an exhibition at The Burnie Regional Art Gallery or taking a stroll through Federation Street at the Burnie Regional Museum.

Travel via King or Jones Streets to the main car park and building entry.

Please note there is no entry to the carpark from Wilmot Street overpass, see google driving directions to carpark.

There are five free 10 minute parking bays which are helpful when you are collecting any pre-purchased tickets from the Box Office. These parking bays are located on the lower side of the car park, directly outside the Box Office.

For longer stays purchase ticket and display on dashboard or enjoy the convenience of the EasyPark app. Tickets machines are located close to the Burnie Regional Museum and outside the Town Hall entrance. A five hour limit applies.

There are 3 x disabled parking bays outside the Burnie Arts & Function Centre and 2 outside the Burnie Regional Museum.
