Caldew Park is located on the corner of Hill and Warwick Streets in West Hobart.

A popular and stand out feature of the park is the installation of a large former railway train which has been converted into play equipment, which lends the park its traditional colloquial name, The Train Park.

The park has recently undergone significant refurbishment, and is now fully fenced, providing a safe and enjoyable playground for children with play equipment in the form of swings, a unique train bridge, a play train and a tricycle track along with free electric BBQs and public convenience facilities.
