Cornelian Bay Boat House Restaurant

Cornelian Bay Boat House Restaurant

The Boat House Restaurant is uniquely situated on the beach at Cornelian Bay, Tasmania, just five minutes from Hobarts city centre.

The Restaurant overlooks sailing boats in the bay, the Tasman Bridge and the charming heritage listed boat sheds. This elegant and contemporary venue has an open plan design with two walls of glass doors opening onto the lawns. The design is split-level, this enables all guests to have a view of the spectacular Derwent River.

Since Leah and Dave Lamb opened the Boat House in November 1999, they have earned an excellent reputation for exceptional food and professional friendly service.

Chef/Owner, Dave Lambs passion for food is unmistakable in his creative use of fresh Tasmanian produce. Read our review in The Weekend Australian, and The Sunday Tasmanian .

The menu changes seasonally, ensuring the freshest produce available. Chefs specials change daily, featuring locally caught seafood eg; scallops, blue eye trevalla, tuna, crayfish as well as game and other Tasmanian specialties.

The Boat House can cater up to 150 guests for a cocktail reception or 110 guests for lunch or dinner with the potential for larger numbers with an attached marquee.
