The James Boags Brewery is situated in Launceston, Tasmania, and producer of one of not only Tasmania's but Australias finest and most popular selection of beers, Boags.

Boags takes great pride in continuing the tradition handed down by James Boag of brewing the finest quality beers with premium ingredients.

J. Boag and Sons flagship brand - James Boags Premium Lager - has won many Best Beer awards since its launch in 1994, including a total of seven awards at the 1998 Australian International Beer Awards: Gold Medal, Best Brewery in Australasia, Best Exhibit in Class 1, Open Section Champion, Best Bottled and Canned Lager, Best Lager in the Open Section and Grand Champion Beer.

Their newest brand, Boags Strongarm Bitter (together with James Boags Premium) jointly beat all the Australian entries in Winestate Magazines Best Beer Tasting competition.
