Smithton Squash Club holds regular competitions along with weekly graded competitions (2 pennants per year, up to 64 players), annual club championships and regular social competitions (approx 2 per year).

The Smithton Squash club also regularly participates in the North West Tasmanian Coastal Squash Competition, which has representative teams from North and North West Tasmania.

Social non competition squash is also available, with courts available for hire on an hourly basis between 6am and 9pm, most days.

The Smithton Sports Centre consists of 4 squash courts, which are used for both competition and social squash.

Social Squash

The Smithton Squash Club offers social squash between 4:30am and 9pm most days. Cost of court hire is via a token system at $2/15 minutes, and $10 deposit for an access key, which must be returned within 3 hours or deposit is non-refundable.

Junior Squash

Smithton Squash Club holds Junior Squash Club Training each Thursday afternoon during school terms at a cost of $6 a week.

Training is conducted by experienced squash players, and is structured for juniors between 8 and 19.

Junior players are invited to play in the weekly pennant competitions on Tuesday or Wednesday nights.
