Our mission is to brighten the lives of all seriously ill and hospitalised children and their families, throughout Australia.
Our hospital programs include Starlight Express Rooms, Starlight Fun Centres and Starlight Express Vans - geared to deliver fun and entertainment to hospitalised children around the country.
Out of hospital, Starlights Wishgranting program grants the wish of children aged four to eighteen who suffer from any serious illness, and meet our criteria. While Starlight Escapes provides the children and their families with fun group outings and activities, throughout the year.
Our Guiding Principles form the basis for all Starlight relationships between the children and their families and our supporters and volunteers. Starlight is funded entirely from within Australia and the funds are spent in Australia for the benefit of seriously ill and hospitalised children and their families. Starlight does not receive any government funding and is entirely supported by individuals and corporations through special events, cause-related marketing promotions and in kind support of both goods and services.
