The Great Train Race 2025 - Devonport

The Great Train Race is an event for the whole family with choices ranging from 400m to 7km.
The Tax Centre Great Train Race starts and finishes at the Don River Railway. The course makes it's way through the Don Reserve walking tracks before turning at Coles beach ( 3.5 km) and returning on the same track to the Don River Railway.
Runners and walkers go head-to-head against the Don River Railway Steam train.
The race starts at the iconic Don River Railway and follows the beautiful Devonport walking track/Don River all the way to Coles Beach and return. Along the way, runners and walkers are entertained by all sorts of things and can hear the train chasing them down as it meanders its way through the Don Reserve. A must event for young and old.
