Adventure Island Super Saturday Tour
The Adventure Island Super Saturday Tour is your opportunity to experience three of Hobarts most famous icons in one afternoon.
By joining the Super Saturday tour, youll be taken to Salamanca Market, Richmond Colonial Village & Mount Wellington. You will get to spend real quality time at these places along with some other fantastic destinations like Historic Bellerive Village and Meadowbank Winery.
Our guide will have Photos and handouts for you, as well as plenty of great stories of the area. The tour has also been translated in Japanese and Korean.
Departs Hobart at 11am and returns 5pm every Saturday, all year round.
Salamanca Market
Spend the morning strolling through one of Australias most famous markets before meeting your guide and starting the Super Saturday Tour.
Ferry Ride
Board the ferry and cross the Derwent River to the historic Kangaroo Point and Bellerive Bluff.
Bellerive Bluff
After a short introduction to the areas history, youll be able to walk around the Bellerive foreshore offering great views of Hobart and Mt Wellington, before finishing at the Bellerive beaches where your guide will be waiting with some more of the areas stories.
Meadowbank Winery
Enjoy sampling some of Tassies Award winning wines and learn about the history of wine making in Tasmania.
Richmond Village
Richmond is Australias best preserved colonial village with fine Georgian buildings, Australias oldest bridge and Catholic Church, art galleries, speciality shops and cafes.
Mt. Wellington
The Tour finishes with a visit to Mt Wellington, offering magnificent views of Hobart and Southern Tasmania. You will have plenty of time to walk around the summit and check out the views and information centre. This is great attraction in Hobart, and our guide has some interesting facts and stories of the mountain they will en route.
