Denmark Hill B & B

Denmark Hill Bed & Breakfast is a National Heritage and Trust listed convict brick and freestone property, and offers visitors a friendly and relaxing place to stay when in the region.

The property has been faithfully restored, and is now surrounded by an extensive country garden where the ambience of roses, lavender and hawthorn hedges can be enjoyed together with a magnificent backdrop of the Mount Wellington Ranges in the distance across the Derwent Valley.

Every comfort is provided and guests marvel at the peace and quiet that allows them to relax and unwind after exploring the beautiful Derwent Valley and South West Wilderness. Hearty Continental breakfast provisions are provided and evening meals are always available at nearby pubs and restaurants.

The Salmon Ponds, historic Oast Houses, hop fields, Mount Field National Park and Lake Pedder are all within a half days drive or just relax and enjoy the four seasons of the Derwent Valley.

Although Denmark Hill is set in a rural location, New Norfolk with its historic buildings and riverside walks is only minutes away, Hobart an easy drive of 35 minutes and Hobart airport, 40 minutes.
