The Tasmanian Writers Centre is a not-for-profit organisation supporting excellence in literature and celebrating books and writing in all their forms.

Any writer knows they need an audience to workshop ideas with, and the Tasmanian Writers Centre provides an important community portal for writers to make contact with other writers and learn valuable skills.

The centre develops programs for readers and for writers including professional development, industry information for the publishing industry, mentorships, readings and events.

We offer an excellent range of services to our members, including attractive discounts at bookshops and on writers workshops and manuscript assessment.
