Hobart Rivulet Linear Park features a 2km walking trail which follows the banks of the Hobart Rivulet to Cascade Gardens.

The walk passes through extensive plantings with a relaxing and scenic back drop, with seating and free electric BBQ facilities are available along the walk.

The walk can be accessed from various points along the linear park, with the best access points at either end, at the Cascade Gardens or opposite the intersection of Collins and Molle Streets in the city.

2 hour parking is available in Molle Street and a car park at Cascade Gardens, or alternatively the route can be accessed by buses which run along Macquarie Street.

The riverside walk meanders along the Hobart Rivulet from where it disappears beneath city streets and follows the rivulets course up to the historic Cascade Brewery at the foot of Mount Wellington, where youll find an extensive playground and facilities for picnics and barbecues - an excellent spot to take a break after your walk.
