Launceston Golf Club is the oldest 18 Hole Golf Course in Tasmania and is situated between the leafy residential suburb of Norwood and bustling shopping centre of Kings Meadows.

A fully automated watering system and natural drainage ensure the Course is playable in superb condition all year round. The Launceston Golf Club has a proud reputation locally and interstate for the presentation of its facilities and as an excellent test of golfing ability.

The 5987 metre par 72 layout provides something for all golfers whether looking for a challenging course or for a course where you can cut your teeth.

Carved out of natural bushland, Launceston Golf Club provides the golfer with well manicured greens, strategically placed bunkers on every hole and eucalyptus tree lined fairways.

With stands of black wood and wattle trees throughout the course you are unaware of the close proximity of the surrounding hustle & bustle of the suburbs.

The courses undulating layout makes it very easy to walk throughout your round of golf, howe'ver electric cart hire is available.

The signature hole is the 13th hole "Spion Kop". The 157 metre par 3 has a narrow tree lined fairway, deep gully to transverse and strategically placed bunkers protecting the green, this hole has been the downfall of many golfers over the years.

After your game, enjoy the hospitality of our Clubhouse with its licensed bar and catering facilities.

Our long serving Golf Professional Bill Husband has a well stocked Golf Shop and is available for lessons on our extensive practice facilities.
