The Polish Association in Hobart (Zwi�..zek Polaków w Hobart) was established in 1950 by Polish post-World War II migrants who arrived in Tasmania to start a new life.
The Association is their legacy to the future generations.
The aims of the Polish Association are to promote Polish culture and language and to build friendly links between Polish and Australian communities. One of our major activities is the provision of support services to elderly and frail members of the Tasmanian Community, with a focus on persons of Polish descent.
If you are interested in becoming a member of the Polish Association please contact us. You can dance in Oberek or play soccer with us. We commemorate Polish national days and enjoy each other's company. Each Thursday you can meet us between 7.00pm and 8.00pm at the Polish House and then at the Polish Club.
Open on WED, THUR, FRI, SAT from 5pm till late.
