Opened in 1993 the Earl Arts Centre is a delightful black box theatre that seats 184, which is suitable for a range of smaller projects.

The Earl Arts Centre is used for a variety of purposes ranging from theatre and dance in an intimate setting, to film screenings and conference sessions.

The venues are within 5 minutes walking time from bus interchanges on St John St.

By Car

The City of Launceston Paterson Street East multi-storey car park is open Monday-Saturday 9am-midnight.

There are two 24/7 car parks in Earl Street, both with ticket machines that accept coins or card payment.

There are also limited on-street options in Brisbane, George and York Streets and in Yorktown Square. Make sure you leave time to find a parking spot nearby.

A taxi rank operates just around the corner from the theatre in George St.
