Built in 1911, and seating 944 patrons, the Princess holds a cherished spot in northern Tasmanian hearts. The Earl Arts Centre is a well-equipped "black box" theatre, seating 186 patrons.
The Princess Theatre and Earl Arts Centre are managed by Theatre North Inc.
Access: We have accessible seating for wheelchair users and carers in the stalls. A lift operates between street level and the lower level of the theatre (providing access to the stalls).

By Bus
The venues are within 5 minutes walking time from bus interchanges on St John St.
By Car
The City of Launceston Paterson Street East multi-storey car park is open Monday-Saturday 9am-midnight.
There are two 24/7 car parks in Earl Street, both with ticket machines that accept coins or card payment.
There are also limited on-street options in Brisbane, George and York Streets and in Yorktown Square. Make sure you leave time to find a parking spot nearby.
A taxi rank operates just around the corner from the theatre in George St.
