24-hour Sports Channel One HD arrives in TAS
The Ten Networks already much loved 24-hour Sports Channel, One HD has arrived in Tasmania.
One HD began broadcasting through regional centres in NSW, QLD, VIC and the ACT through Southern Cross TV on July 2, with broadcasting beginning for most capitals in late March.
TDT has confirmed they were faced with setbacks that delayed the channels arrival to Tasmania, though now assure Tasmanians those issues have been resolved and One HD will be hitting their screens on July 30 at 7pm, after a campaign by steadfast Tasmanian sport fans to have the channel airing seems to have hit the spot.
TDT general manager Stephen Giles has confirmed the new channel will be available to those Tasmanian viewers who receive TDTs high-definition service. One HD will be broadcast on digital channel 50 but viewers will need a high-definition television or a set-top box.
One HD arrived in Tasmania on 30 July 2013 at 7pm.
